Golem Hearts by Gen Otsuka ran in Viz’s Weekly Shonen Jump 2017 issues 48-50. While short, this project was a lot of fun. I’ve been a big fan of Shonen Jump almost as long as I’ve been a manga fan, and having my work alongside some of the big classic Shonen Jump greats is an honor I never imagined I’d have.
Like with Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor I added my own flair by occasionally handwriting sound effects as I saw fit.
